Our Clients
NADRA – National Database Registration Authority
NADRA is the guardian of all citizen information, records and identity cards in Pakistan, a country of 240M people. The project, called BISP, is funded by the World Bank and involves extensive data entry on a combo ‘onsite-offsite model’. The IA site was expanded to 800 personnel for this project. The accuracy delivered was 99.5% and 40-50M alphanumeric characters were entered per day all using IA’s eDocMan software for digitization and workflow management and Digitalization of Benazir income Support Program Forms (BISP)
Schlumberger
Schlumberger outsourced their Accounts Payable documents processing to Information Architects in June, 2013. Invoice records include approximately 20,000 documents per month that are physically archived locally while electronic copies are scanned and sent to their vendor “Accenture” automatically through an application software specially developed for Schlumberger. It is a three year contract, and IA’s team has been awarded for best maintained office in terms of neatness of archives, organization and quality of work.

Telenor Telecom
This project involves processing on daily basis, over 35 Thousand Telenor sales forms (called Customer Service Agreement Forms) using high volume state of the art Kodak i640 scanners and Kofax Ascent Capture software for data extraction at our Islamabad facility. This is an ongoing project and has been extended regularly, due to excellent performance. In this project the prime vendor was NCR, which sub-contracted the project to IA.
Mobilink CSR Forms scanning & Digitization
Information Architects performed scanning and digitization of CSR Forms on large scale, approximately scanning 96 million pages and indexed around 4000 million characters of information. This project was done in 2006.
In another project of Digitization of Financial Records of Mobilink were done worth of 1.5 million pages and around 3.3 Million characters of information, through the same contractor and during the same time frame.
In 2013, IA won a project for scanning and digitization of around 3.0 million pages of PV/JV/SCM records, and it is in the final stages of handing over of data for upload into EDMS System of Mobilink. IA has successfully delivered 2010 – 2012 data with images and accessible by users through their ERP/Oracle and EDMS Systems. Remaining 6 months of 2008/2013 are in the process of delivery at the moment.
Mari Gas Petroleum Company Limited
Mari Gas Petroleum Company Limited project of exploration department’s archives management project. It involved large format scanning of Maps/Logs/Reports, Cataloguing and Barcoding of All Assets comprising of paper documents as well as magnetic tapes, CDs and other assets. The project commenced in September 2016 and finished January 2017 to the entire satisfaction of the client.
Alcatel-Lucent
Alcatel-Lucent’s main office in Islamabad handles all supplies and support services to all the major five Telecom Operators in Pakistan. Alcatel-Lucent wanted to digitize their Human Resources and Technical Support departments, including developing an application for retrieval of digitized images. Within one month IA delivered the solution which included developing application software, obtaining client approval and deployment. IA worked entirely at the client premises, delivering the assignment as per satisfaction of the client. Scanning involved both searchable pdf documents as well as color and B&W photographs of graphical and technical nature.
CARE International Pakistan
Digitize HR Record Files from 2005 till to date, by scanning and indexing the paper records and uploading scan images and index information into a software specially developed for the purpose of retrieving information through index keys such as employee code or name of the employee.
All records to be scanned and uploaded shall be named strictly according to the naming convention to be defined at the time of commencement of work, by the CARE staff.
- Indexing of Documents:
Indexing of given documents with indexing information as per mentioned fields, shall be done by IA Staff through Single Data Entry plus QC process for ensuring 99.00% accuracy. Each document set may vary in terms of volume ranging from 40-60 pages depending on case to case basis.
- Uploading of Scanned documents
- Documents shall be scanned in PDF format as required by the Retrieval Software System, and/or requirement of the CARE.
WaterAid Pakistan
IA have digitized HR Record Files from its inception till to date, by scanning and indexing the paper records and uploading scan images and index information into a software specially developed for the purpose of retrieving information through index keys such as employee code or name of the employee. They are currently keeping these records in files of various categories. However, searching a particular record is time consuming and inefficient. By digitizing these records, they would improve the way this information is currently being retrieved, while ensuring that these documents are protected and preserved against disasters as well.
Oxfam International
Oxfam’s main office in Islamabad handles expense related claims and supporting documents for the expenses taking place within their area of jurisdiction. After due processing, these documents are filed away for later reference in box files and archived into bound registers at the end of the financial year. As a part of processing of these expenses related claims, once the claim is approved, it is entered in a spreadsheet and includes information like date, voucher number, and description fields that contain the name of the account/vendor. Archived documents in the bound registers are referenced through these voucher numbers.
These historic documents are periodically transferred to our site based on a pre-determined process. These documents are then scanned and indexed based on the agreed criteria. Furthermore, we are provided with the spreadsheets being used by the Oxfam’s staff so that these images could be linked with the data from the spreadsheets. As a result, these images can be searched and viewed in multiple ways by the Oxfam’s staff using the software viewing utility, hence eliminating the need for them to physically search, retrieve and review historic claim documents.
NRSP Microfinance Bank
NRSP Microfinance Bank with head office in Bahawalpur and around 200 offices throughout Pakistan offers financing to low income farmers and households. NRSP Bank has around 2000 employees across its network.
DMS offered its services to computerize its HR Files both physical files as well as specialized software developed for the bank. The project was unique in a way that the files were first organized in 6 sections and same was available on network users across the bank. Additionally, they can restrict access rights to a particular section of a file and perform select operations assigned to the user. Moreover, the software allows them to upload new files for the future employees. The project was delivered in last quarter of 2018.
Muslim Commercial Bank
To comply with Basel II treaty requirements, Muslim Commercial Bank’s Credit Risk department required scanning and indexing of their customer files. In addition, it was required to enter financial data for these customers as well so that this data can later be used for risk assessment. Data Entry included entry of data from the following financial statements; Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements and Credit Proposals into four respective spread sheets
Capital Development Authority(CDA)
This project involved development of functionality at the client facilities to scan about 1.5 million register pages at the Land and Revenue Directorate of the Capital Development Authority, Islamabad. This operation was based at CDA premises under a contract awarded to LMKR. IA collected and return registers from / to CDA designated personnel as mutually agreed. Registers were then placed on book scanners for page by page manual scanning. Register reference data (approximately 15 alphanumeric characters) per register were typed as the file name from the register title for retrieval purposes. Periodic reports and electronic copy of scanned images are provided on USB drives. In this project the prime vendor was LMKR, which sub-contracted the project to IA.
Due to the sensitivity of the data, our team worked at the client site to convert paper based data – some of it very old – into information. Our team consisted of 6 highly trained and skilled professionals who followed our tested methodology that was discussed with the client prior to the start of the project for maximum efficiency. The IA team used 2 high-end scanners along with two work stations, a mass storage device and a few USB drives.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf(PTI)
Document of scanning and digitizing with appropriate metadata of the existing paper based records of union councils of Punjab province.
The real strength of IA is in putting together and managing winning teams for delivering Document and Data Management Solutions to clients. These multi-disciplinary teams are tailored to reduce the risk exposure of clients in uncharted areas.
IA proposes its services to process the PTI’s data of Union Council’s nomination documents in bulk quantity of paper based within IA’s premises. The time span in very limited just few days to complete the work of scanning and indexing the scanned forms and make them available to client in the CSV format in Excel application.
